The Priestly Blessing – Num 6: (22-27) NIV
“The LORD (Yahweh) said to Moses, ‘Tell Aaron and his sons, This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:
“The LORD (Yahweh) bless you and keep you;
The LORD (Yahweh) make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The LORD (Yahweh) turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
So they will put my name (Yahweh) on the Israelites, and I will bless them’. ”
In this very important priestly blessing, instructed by the God of Israel to Moses, the personal Name of God, Yahweh, is put upon people three times, to bless them.
The Name Yahweh is the Name of the Holy Triune God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Three Persons in the Godhead.
The Priestly Blessing points to The Holy Trinity.
Yahweh is a very Holy Name and the most powerful Name in the Universe, with its compound Name Yeshua (Yahweh is Salvation).
By using the Name of God three times to bless people, would they get a triple blessing?
